Still, despite the fact that she got to sit on a throne and take in her adoring friends and admirers, White doesn't think she quite deserves the grand affair.
"Don't give me any credit," she saidaccording to ontheredcarpet.com, "I didn't do anything to get to be 90. It just happened. I didn't accomplish anything. It just came up on me."
Ms. White turns 90 on the 17th of January, and as for what she'll be doing on her actual birthday she says: "I'm going to sit back home with my golden retriever Pontiac."
The actress also said she had no plans on retiring. "Everybody says, 'Why don't you retire? Why don't you quit?' Why should I quit when I'm having such a good time? So my New Year's resolution is to appreciate everything that's happening to me, and hopefully, hopefully continue to do it," she said.
White, who is the only surviving cast member of Golden Girls, has made a comeback recently, appearing in films like The Proposal and You Again.
