The internet was recently  abuzz with reports that young True Blood actress, Evan Rachel Wood is engaged to long-time boyfriend Jamie Bell.

Last week the actress' rep declined to comment on the engagement news when Wood and Bell were spotted out together, with Wood wearing a noticeable sparkler on her ring finger.

The rumours of Woods enagement spread like wildfire but the actress has cleard up all confusion,  tweeting, "Sorry to disappoint, but I have been wearing that diamond on my left hand since I was 14. It was my aunts. Any engagement rumor is false."

Wood and Bell first started dating in 2005 after they appeared in Green Day's music video for Wake Me Up When September Ends, but split a year later.

The actress then went on to date rocker Marilyn Manson and the two were reportedly engaged, but split in 2010 before she rekindled her relationship with Bell.
