From a vampire role to…yet another vampire role.

Veteran actor, Christoper Heyerdahl who played ancient Volturi vampire Marcus in the popular Twilight movies will continue to bare his fangs on M-Net's True Blood.

According to movieweb.com,  he’ll play Dieter Braun, one of the five council members of the Vampire Authority, the highest-ranking governing authority over all vampires. Braun appears relatively mild-mannered, but revels in innovative torture techniques while interrogating prisoners.

It will be interesting to keep an eye out for casting of the other council members including Nora, African vampire Kibwe, big-haired Texan vamp Rosalyn Harris and 9 year-old cigarette-smoking Alexander.

Besides his vampire cred, Heyderdahl is also known as Bigfoot on Sanctuary and the demon Alastair on Supernatural.
