Hugh Laurie is best known for his role on M-Net Series’ House but he had a long line of roles prior to this, that made him a household name in his native U.K.

It started with a few television commercials before he shot to fame with fellow actor Stephen Fry on the comedy skit show Fry & Laurie before pursuing more serious movie roles.
