

Being Human is a re-imagining of the acclaimed BBC original series that follows three 20-something roommates: a ghost, a vampire and a werewolf who are struggling to keep their dark secrets from the world, while also helping each other navigate the complexities of living double lives.
"Being Human is a smart, contemporary, young and imaginative series that reflects Syfy's new brand positioning. We are very excited to adapt this for an American audience and bring it into Syfy's family of programming," said Dave Howe, President, Syfy.
Rounding out the creative team of the show is Adam Kane (The Mentalist, Heroes) as director and co-executive producer, with executive producer Michael Prupas (The Kennedys, Pillars of the Earth) alongside husband and wife executive producers/writers Jeremy Carver (Supernatural) and Anna Fricke (Men in Trees, Everwood).

Sally meets a ghostly new friend who teaches her how to cross physical boundaries like the apartment.
Josh gets roped into the Neighborhood Watch against his wishes. Aidan is recognised by the son of one of his past victims, who is determined to confront Aidan about his father's murder.

7 Nov: There Goes the Neighborhood, Pt. 2
Sally begs the guys to call Danny over so she can try to make him see her presence somehow.
Aidan, while trying to fight off Cara's unwanted admiration, receives some shocking news about someone who he thought was dead. Josh discovers Aidan's involvement in the Rebecca incident and confronts him about it; at the same time, Josh is also struggling with whether to tell his sister the truth about himself.

31 Oct: There Goes the Neighborhood, Pt. 1
Josh is miserable after his latest full moon transformation resulted in him waking up next to a bloody dead deer in the woods.
Aidan, having made a terrible mistake himself when he accidentally killed the woman he was with the night before, suggests that he and Josh should live together so they can watch out for each other.
When they've found the perfect apartment, they realize the place comes with its own ghost, Sally.
Meanwhile, the leader of the vampires, Bishop, is trying hard to lure Aidan back into the fold.

Mark Pellegrino
For someone who has racked up nearly a hundred TV and film credits, Pellegrino was was virtually unknown to most television audiences before his stint on Lost.
In a span of more than two decades, this character actor has kept a low profile but has constantly landed supporting roles in countless movies and TV shows.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Pellegrino’s career began with a guest appearance on L.A. Law in 1987. Throughout the next couple of decades, Pellegrino has lent his unique talent in working with acclaimed film directors Richard Donner (Lethal Weapon 3 in 1992), Joel Coen (The Big Lebowski in 1998), David Mamet (Spartan in 2004), David Lynch (Mulholland Drive in 2001), and Jon Turteltaub (National Treasure in 2004) among others.
On television, Mark has guest-starred in numerous series’ including his portrayal of terrorist bomber Bobby James on The Beast, three different characters in separate episodes of NYPD Blue, and mob boss Sadik Marku, whose mistress and son went missing, on Without a Trace.
In 2006, Pellegrino landed a recurring role as Paul Bennett, the violent estranged husband of Rita, on M-Net's suspense crime drama Dexter. But it was only in 2009 when he was cast as the once-invisible yet highly-significant Jacob, who seemingly holds the secrets to the mysterious South Pacific Island, on Lost that Mark gained wider prominence. That same year, he played Lucifer, in the fifth season of Supernatural.
Pellegrino lives inLos Angeles with his wife Tracy Aziz, stepdaughter Tess and stepson Misha. He is a teacher at the repertory theatre company. Pellegrino was baptized as a born-again Christian in his mid-20s but now considers himself more "spiritual/philosophical".

Sam Huntington
Huntington began acting at the age of 9 under the direction of his actress mother as a part of her children's theater, The Black Box.
His professional acting career began at the celebrated Peterborough Players in Peterborough where he was cast in four major productions from 1991 to 1994.
Although Sam wanted to begin screen acting right away, his mother encouraged him to gain more experience. In 1995, Sam signed with an Agency in New York City. He attended 7th grade at The Professional Children's School, where he became friends with Macaulay Culkin. During this year, he was cast in three television commercials.
The young actor also signed a three-movie contract with the Walt Disney Company. He also had a guest appearance on the award-winning television show Law & Order in December 1997.
On August 12, 2006, he married his girlfriend of five years, actress Rachel Klein. The couple have a son named Charlie.
He currently plays the character of Josh, a werewolf, in the American sci-fi television series Being Human.

Samuel Witwer
He is presently the star of the US/Canadian remake of the supernatural drama series Being Human.
Witwer grew up in a small suburb outside of Chicago. He was involved in drama and theater classes at school, as well as being the lead singer of a high school band . He attended the Juilliard School for a time before moving to Los Angeles.
Witwer's first major recurring role came in the form of portraying Lt. Crashdown on Battlestar Galactica, although he has credited much of his current success to his role as Neil Perry on Dexter.
Witwer states that his first love is music and he is still active in it, as he is currently the lead singer of the band The Crashtones. The band released its debut album in 2006.
