Jon Hamm has been dishing out some sensible guidance as an “agony uncle” for teen girls.

The Mad Men actor has provided his personal advice on a range of matters for the Ask A Grown Man video web series on Rookie.

In the video, the Hollywood hunk is seen reading questions out loud from a phone and addressing the camera directly. The first question he tackled was from a 16 year-old girl who was worried about her love life.

“One day a guy wanted to get with me, and the next, he changed his mind. What do I do with this flipflopper?” Hamm is seen musing, before lending his advice to the lovelorn teen.

“You’re 16-ish, so I’m assuming he’s the same age. Give the guy a break. Maybe he changed his mind. Maybe you’ll change your mind,” he said.

“You’ll be just fine. The world’s your oyster. If a guy doesn’t want to get with you, don’t sweat. There’s a lot of guys out there. Don’t define yourself with who wants to get with you. I’m sure you’re a lovely person.”

Jon also gave his verdict on the question: “If a girl farts in front of her significant other, should she feel embarrassed?”

“No of course (not),” he explained. “Everybody farts.”

In total, Jon answered five questions before signing off with a tongue-in-cheek message for his listeners.

“Well these have been my five questions. I hope I’ve been helpful. I’m 41 years-old. It doesn’t mean you have to pay attention to me. You’re probably all too young to watch Mad Men, so I don’t know. Enjoy The Hunger Games,” he quipped.

The web series for Rookie has also featured actor Paul Rudd.

As with past seasons, the fourth season focuses on Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) and her staff at the parks and recreation department of the fictional Indiana town of Pawnee.

In the fourth season premiere, Leslie struggles with forbidden relationship with Ben as she fears it will jeopardize her future run for office. Meanwhile, Ron has to deal with the arrival of his first wife, Tammy.

Kate Hudson’s guest appearance on Glee will see her singing – and will be “dance-heavy”.

It was recently confirmed that Kate and fellow Hollywood star Sarah Jessica Parker will feature in the next season of the hit TV show.

Despite the big announcement by Fox, details remained scarce.

However, Entertainment Weekly has now obtained some new information about the exciting guest roles.

Kate – who will feature in six episodes – will reportedly be playing a “mentor-type role to Rachel Berry”, portrayed by Lea Michele.

The blonde star’s role will “have her singing but will also be very dance-heavy”.

Meanwhile, Glee star Chris Colfer told Live! With Kelly that Sarah will be seen advising his character Kurt Hummel in the fourth season.

The website also reports that Glee is planning another Britney Spears tribute for the fall.

The homage to the superstar will apparently feature in the second episode and will include a medley of eight of her hits.

Britney is not scheduled to appear in the special episode, but producers are hoping to work out a deal with the newly-confirmed judge on the US version of The X Factor.

The original Britney episode – which was broadcast in Glee’s second season – is one of the show’s highest-rated episodes to date.

Felicity Huffman got caught sneaking secret script pages out of a Desperate Housewives meeting.

The actress is Lynnette Scavo on the top-rating TV show, which is ending when a two-hour show airs in the US on Sunday.

Emotions have been high while shooting the final scenes and none of the main characters knew what was going to happen to them until the last minute. Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross and Vanessa Williams also appear on the series and couldn’t wait to hear what would become of their much-loved characters.

“There were secret blue pages, which were the end-end scenes, and you couldn’t take them out of the room. But of course everybody took them out of the room,” Felicity laughed. “I was walking around talking to the writers and they caught me with my blue pages. They have the un-envious job of ending something. You either have to go off the cliff like Thelma & Louise or come in under wire and fade to black like The Sopranos.”

Screen grabs from the finale have already hit the internet, and show the female characters playing poker and scenes shot in court.

Felicity thinks fans will be pleased with the way the eight-year series is wrapped up, although she is refusing to give away any spoilers. She says there are “sweet spots of satisfaction” included, revealing she had her own feel-good moment when thinking of what she would like to take home from the set.

“For a while there I joked I would take Marcia Cross’ legs, Eva Longoria’s butt,” she told Parade.com. “There is a really ugly couch in Tom and Lynette’s den that Doug [Savant, who portrays Tom] and I always nap on. We’re like the old couple. When they yell cut we go in and snooze for three minutes.”

Sarah Michelle Gellar and husband Freddie Prinze Jr are “thrilled” with her pregnancy.

A source confirmed to Us Weekly magazine that the 35 year-old actress, who is mother to two year-old daughter Charlotte Grace, is expecting her second child with Freddie.

The couple are delighted to be expanding their brood.

“[Sarah] and Freddie are thrilled,” a source gushed to the publication. “They’re amazing parents.”

Sarah is surprised by how much stay-at-home dad Freddie enjoys caring for their daughter Charlotte while the actress is at work filming her TV show Ringer.

“He loves it. We fight over who gets to stay home,” Sarah shared. “You’d think it would be the opposite, that the parents would be like, ‘No, I’ll go to work!’ but he’s like, ‘You stayed home for two years! It’s my turn!’ ”

Sarah and Freddie have been together for a decade, tying the knot after two years of dating.

The drama continues as season two begins moments after the explosive season one finale. The girls are the talk of the town — and not in a good way. Surprises and challenges will be in store for each this season, and “A” may succeed in her quest.

Ellen DeGeneres has applauded US President Barack Obama for declaring his support for gay marriage.

Last week the politician confirmed he backs the legalisation of same sex couples being able to tie the knot.

Ellen, who married Portia de Rossi in 2008 following the overturn of the gay marriage ban in California, delivered a speech on her show today to thank the president for his announcement.

“President Obama just came out in support of same sex marriage and I say, ‘Wow – wow’,” she said.

“There have been moments in history when someone has the courage to stand up for what they believe in and that one action changes everything. “It takes a brave man to take a stand like this – especially in an election year – so I say, Mr president thank you very, very, very much!”

She was one of many celebrities who have used Twitter to praise the leader for his words. Lady Gaga, an ambassador for gay rights, lauded Obama on the social networking site.

“Obama, congratulations on being the first sitting President to support marriage equality. Feels like the future, and not the past. #NoFear. (sic)” she wrote.

How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris agreed. Neil confirmed he is gay in November 2006 and has been supporting equal opportunities ever since. “Bravo, Mr President, and thank you,” he tweeted.
